TGIJP is actively seeking volunteers for a whole range of work. Because we prioritize the experience and wisdom of those who have been directly impacted, we are particularly interested in working with former and current prisoners.

We rely on community support to keep us going! Your support will help us travel to visit TGI prisoners in person, and receive collect calls from prisoners. Contact with TGIJP is often a lifeline for TGI prisoners, and the only way to keep them directly involved in the leadership of this organization.

A Special Note to White Allies

TGIJP is primarily led by and for TGI people of color, but does not discriminate on the basis of race. While TGIJP welcomes the support of white allies, the Project expects white allies interested in volunteering to have a basic grasp of anti-racist principles and practice, and respect the importance of leadership by TGI people of color.
